Office Hours:
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Wednesday: 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Appointments
Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request 24-hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment and we appreciate you letting us know when you have to reschedule.
Scheduling:
Because the majority of our patients attend school, all appointments requiring longer than 20 minutes must be scheduled between 8:10 a.m and 1:30 p.m. This allows us to offer as many before and after school appointments as possible. It must be understood that 85% of our patients are students; therefore it is necessary that some appointments be made during school hours.
Cancellation:
If it is necessary to cancel an appointment we will have to reappoint according to availability in our schedule…generally in the early morning or early afternoon. Since we schedule on a 6-8 week rotation, inserting additional patients after school hours would result n keeping everyone waiting.
No-Shows:
If an appointment is missed, it will be rescheduled…generally in the early morning or early afternoon.
Emergencies:
If the patient has a broken bracket, loose band or broken wire, additional time will be needed to correct the problem. Please call and notify us of a broken appliance even if your appointment is the next day. We will make the patient comfortable as soon as possible and ask that they return when time is available to correct the problem. If the patient is scheduled for a short appointment and if found to have a broken appliance, they will be rescheduled when time is available.
Late:
If the patient is late for an appointment, we will try to treat the patient, but not at the expense of the patients who have arrived on time. The patient may end up waiting a long time or may have to reschedule when time is available.
***Our office does extend the courtesy of House Calls feature, which will call you usually the evening before your appointment. This is a computer generated program that can be affected by power outages and the weather. We ask that you always keep your appointment card and/or message to yourself regarding your appointment time and date.
