John Oubre has been practicing orthodontics since 1982. He earned both his dental and orthodontic degree from Louisiana State University, graduating from dental school in 1980 and earning his orthodontic degree in 1982. Dr. Oubre is married to Jeannie Wedemeyer who also has a dental degree. They have five children Michael, Matthew, Thomas, Olivia and James.

Dr. Oubre believes in using the best and latest technology offered to create beautiful smiles and to achieve optimal functional results.

Dr. Oubre is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics since 1982 and past President of the Louisiana Association of Orthodontics. Dr. Oubre is currently in the Roth Study Group and a member of Roth Williams International Society of Orthodontics. He is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics since 1988.

Besides his passion for orthodontics he also loves spending time playing golf and participating in his children’s many activities. Dr. Oubre is also a participant of the 232-HELP and you can find his lecture schedule on his web site.
